Activities
We have a number of activities to get involved with, beyond our Services, Worship Ministries, Choir, or our Outreach Ministries. These happen on a weekly, monthly and bi-monthly basis. Please join us for any or all of these activities.
Conversation Time with Father Ed & Linda
Father Ed and his wife, Linda, invite everyone to a time for Bible study, prayers and conversation every Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. Please join them in the Undercroft to have a cup of coffee, connect and talk about what is important to you. No sign-up required, you can just show up to any Monday evening that you would like. If you have any questions please email the church office HERE.
Upcoming Event: Fall Awe walk
Oh! Ah! AWE!
There's time for one more AWE walk this season, this one Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at the Pond Parish Reservation in Amherst. Meet at the parking lot/trailhead across from 51 Spring Road.
Pond Parish is a land in transition. Change is occurring around us in a progression of natural processes. Abrupt changes have occurred in the past from human intervention. During your visit, you can enjoy the smells, sounds and sights of the woods and marsh. You can see signs of the uses by residents 100 years ago and developers within recent history. The pond and marsh are relatively recent changes made by one of nature’s change agents – the beaver. This reservation is a key hub in the greenbelt that connects open woodlands in Merrimack with lands across Amherst and beyond into Bedford.
Beer & Hymns
We host a monthly Beer and Hymns usually on the first Wednesday of the month. In November, it will be held on Wednesday Nov 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the Union Coffee Co., 42 South St., Milford. A variety of beverages will be served, nonalcoholic, beer and wine. The idea is to get together at a location which is not typically associated with a place of worship, with songs to sing and music accompaniment. We provide binders with a variety of music. Father Michael has his guitar, and sometimes there are other handheld instruments as well. Bring your voice, bring an instrument if you have one, and if you have a favorite hymn, we will try to sing it or at least practice it for next time. If you have any questions please email the church office HERE.
Book Group
Church of Our Saviour started a Book Group in 2023 and invites all interested readers to join. You do not need to be a member of the church. We meet every other month on a Thursday at 6:30 pm in The Holder Chapel to discuss the pre-selected book and to enjoy each other’s company and some snacks. We read a variety of books chosen by the group and take turns as discussion leaders and snack providers.
Stay tuned for our next meeting time and the next book.

Church picnic: Fun! Food! Fellowship! September 6
What better way to wrap up our summer worship in beautiful Emerson Park than with a celebration! Among the more than 70 people in attendance were friends and family of parishioners, some faces we haven’t seen in a while, and even the occasional passer-by. Even though there was rain in the forecast, God smiled on the day and held off long enough for us to have a great party and finish cleaning up. Many thanks to all who came, all who brought food and all who helped out with the event. It wouldn’t have been possible without you.
An Awe Walk was held on September 13th with Fr. Michael. All was inspired by the scenery and the wonderful community of people.
